Connect to a Remote Blacklist

You can connect to one or more blacklists on another computer or server.

To connect to a remote blacklist:

  1. In the Project List view, on the Projects tab, double-click a project from the projects list.
  2. In the Current Project view, on the Project Terminology tab, click Connect To Remote.
  3. On the Connect to Remote Blacklist dialog, enter the required information, based on your server options.

    Required fields are marked with a red asterisk.

    Field or Option

    Action

    Name

    Enter a unique name for the blacklist.

    Target Language

    Select a target language from the drop-down list.

    URL

    Enter the remote TMGR URL using the following format: tmgrs://address:port/TMS?. The remaining URL Settings automatically populate when you enter the URL string. Click Test to validate the connection.

    Address

    Enter the remote address.

    Username

    Enter the username associated with the URL log in.

    Password

    Enter the password associated with the username.

    Project Short Code

    Enter the short code for the project, such as ABC0000001.

    Selected

    (Optional) Select to use the current blacklist for the project.
  4. Click OK.

    The new remote blacklist is displayed in the project terminology list.
