TXLF Editor—All Tabs Options

The following tables present an overview of the TXLF Editor icons that initiate an action. The shortcut keys are included followed by a description.

Clipboard Section

Action Icon	Keyboard Shortcut	Description
	Ctrl+Z	Restore the last modification to its previous state.
	Ctrl+Y	Reverse the last restore action.
	Ctrl+F	Search for the specified text and replace it with that provided.

Check Section

Action Icon	Keyboard Shortcut	Description
	No Shortcut	Transcheck only the current segment.
	Ctrl+Shift+Q	Transcheck all segments in the translation.

File Section

Action Icon	Keyboard Shortcut	Description
	No Shortcut	Close the active file.

Help Section

Action Icon	Keyboard Shortcut	Description
	No Shortcut	View release information for Wordfast 4.
	Ctrl+Alt+H	Access online help.

Notes Section

Action Icon	Keyboard Shortcut	Description
	Alt+Shift+N	Add a note to the translation.
	Alt+Shift+E	Edit a note made in the translation.
	Alt+Shift+D	Delete a note in the translation.

Options Section

Action Icon	Keyboard Shortcut	Description
	No Shortcut	Used to attach and detach (make floating toolbar) these Segment options.
	Ctrl+Shift+V	Used to clear all text from a selected target segment.
	No Shortcut	Show the translation as a preview in a Microsoft Word document.
	No Shortcut	Used to insert a left-to-to-right marker in the segment.
	Ctrl+Shift+Space	Used to insert a non-breaking space in the segment.
	No Shortcut	Used to insert a right-to-to-left marker in the segment.
	No Shortcut	Show instructions for the project provided by the project manager.
	Ctrl+Shift+8	Show white space in the document as a middle dot (·).
	F9	Customize the General, Translation, and Project preferences.
	No Shortcut	View the translated project file.

Save Options

Action Icon	Keyboard Shortcut	Description
	Ctrl+S	Save the file.
	F12	Save the file to a different location and or save with a different name.
	Ctrl+Alt+S	Save the file in its original format.

Segment Section

Action Icon	Keyboard Shortcut	Description
	Alt+Q	Commit the current segment to the TM and remain in the segment.
	Ctrl+Alt+Insert	Copy all content from the source into the target.
	Alt+S	The following options are available: Copy the source (including placeable and formatting tags) Copy text from the source segment into the target segment Copy only glossary terms from the target
	Alt+–	Leverage the current segment with the Translation Memory
	No Shortcut	Toggle the segment lock On/Off.
	Alt+	Write the segment to the TM and move to the next translatable segment.
	Alt+	Write the segment to the TM, and move to the previous translatable segment.

Term Section

Action Icon	Keyboard Shortcut	Description
	Ctrl+0	Copy the selected term.
	Ctrl+F5	Run or stop terminology highlighting of all terminology (glossary) matches in all segments in the translation.

Translation Memory

Action Icon	Keyboard Shortcut	Description
	Ctrl+Alt+End	Save the current translation into Translation Memory.
	No Shortcut	View the list of TMs associated with a given project.
