“What I especially liked about the conference was the mix of Wordfast engineers and of translators present. The range of topics was good and the conference itself was organized to a "T". I learned a lot, met interesting people and had fun. I am looking forward to next year.”

“WFF Nice was very interesting, enriching and satisfying. The reduced, human-sized sessions and the diversity of participants allow real exchanges of viewpoints, tips and tricks, and meeting developers and specialists face to face is a huge opportunity. The organization of the conference itself was great.”

“One of the best conferences I attended in Europe. It was well worth the +20-hour flight for me. I learned something new at each session, which is a very big deal when you’ve been in this business as long as I have. The Wordfast Team really outdid themselves in putting this conference together!”

”It was great to meet the Wordfast developers in person: besides being very professional, they are extremely friendly and approachable, which makes you like Wordfast even more. Thanks to the conference I feel I'm part of an international community of fellow Wordfast users, and it feels really good when work tools also lead to such positive human interactions.”

”The Wordfast User Conference 2016 in Nice was a great event. The organization was perfect, as was the location and the contributions. There was a lot to learn and to see and plenty of time to meet people from all over the world. Two things, I appreciated most: the possibiltiy to talk directly to the developpers of the programs and multiple subjects of the talks, not only WF-related, but also amusing, entertaining and educational. I am sure I will attend the next Conference…”

Louise Normandière

”The conference was invaluable! I learnt so much about Wordfast Pro 3 and 4 and it has boosted both my confidence and productivity when working with Wordfast. It was great to get answers straight from the source, and I was reassured to find that many other translators face the same issues as me. I highly recommend it and will be back again next year!”

“It was good to meet the people who develop the product and talk with them in an informal atmosphere where even we the not so technical people could ask questions and get specific answers.” - Riga attendee
“Great atmosphere, direct contact with Wordfast staff, possibility to get to know new wonderful people with same interests, direct information about Wordfast functions and future.” - Riga attendee
“It was different from other translation conferences, smaller, friendlier and the venue was just fantastic.” - Riga attendee
“Excellent networking opportunity, exchange of tips to improve performance.” - Riga attendee
“You guys created a highly collaborative atmosphere that encouraged everyone to be engaged. I really liked the fact that instructors felt comfortable asking users for their input/suggestions when they hit a spot that they themselves struggled with. As a mid-range (neither beginner nor advanced) Wordfast user, the level of information provided at each workshop seemed appropriate - for me. The instructors were very good at calibrating in mid-session to accommodate different user levels and at cultivating a comfortable, inclusive environment - that spilled over into the social program (social programs always yield more when the sessions work well). In general, I found the level of knowledge-sharing to be quite high, and I returned feeling excited about implementing the various tricks and tools I was exposed to. Now I just have to make the time....;-)”  - Riga attendee
“Everything was very well organised, and it was wonderful to meet fellow Wordfasters and to listen to what they had to say… All-in-all a very positive experience.” - Riga attendee
“It is a great opportunity to meet other people doing the same thing, and also to learn a trick or two of which you might not be aware.” - Riga attendee
“It's a good opportunity to meet and interact with the developers as well as for networking and getting insightful comments and tips from people who have the same profession as you and use the same tool(s) to translate, sometimes in a very different way.” - Riga attendee
“I always felt that I wasn't really using Wordfast optimally but didn’t make time to look into it properly. Having a whole weekend of sessions makes you get down to it and also inspired me to keep my knowledge more up to date in future.” - Riga attendee
“Attending the conference was really positive both in terms of networking and in finding out more about the software itself. I very much appreciated being able to exchange with the developers, ask for improvements or changes and learn new tips. As a freelance translator, it made me feel much less alone and more part of a friendly, lively community!” - Riga attendee
